Social Networking sites like Facebook, Twitter are blocked by the Iranian Government, So other Alternative left for users is either use VPN, So Whats App and Telegram have become more popular in Iran,  But the Government wants more control over the Messaging App. Since the Whats App just rolled the end to end encryption which doesn't allow the Government to intercept conversation.

This Month also, The Iranian Governments arrest eight people working for Modelling agencies for posting Pictures in Instagram without Head-scarfs.

By Default Telegram disabled the End to End encryption, But have a feature called New Secret Chat that enables the End To End encryption.
